Be germ-free!

March 14, 2018 by Suzanne Woodward

No one likes getting sick but there are some things you can do to help keep yourself germ-free and avoid spreading germs to other people.

The number one thing is to wash your hands with water and soap. If you can’t wash your hands, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer but make sure it has at least 60% alcohol in it—that’s the most effective % to kill germs.

Did you know that there is a proper way to wash your hands? Follow these 5 steps:

  1. Wet your hands with water
  2. Lather with soap
  3. Scrub for at least 20 seconds (that’s the happy birthday song TWICE)
  4. Rinse
  5. Dry

Happy hand washing!
