Partnering to Navigate PCOS was a 3-year, grant-funded project to design and implement a Comprehensive, Multidisciplinary PCOS Management Program at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Central North Carolina. The project was funded by the US Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health, Office on Women’s Health through the Advancing System Improvements for Key Issues in Women’s Health program. The funding period for this project is September 30, 2022 through September 29, 2025.
In Spring 2026, the name of PCOS was updated to better reflect the condition’s characteristics. PCOS is now known as PMOS, or Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome. This new name highlights that PMOS is a condition that impacts and involves many hormones and metabolic health. Our team is working on updating our materials and webpages to reflect this name change.
